Scope of Limited Warranty

IMPRESS provides this Limited Warranty to the original Buyer/end-user ("The Buyer") of the IMPRESS machinery purchased directly from The Site or an authorized Channel Partner.

1.1. Coverage Period This Warranty is effective for a period of one (1) year (12 months) starting from the date of final commissioning and installation, or 12 months from the date of shipment (Ex-Works/FOB date), whichever occurs first.

1.2. Covered Items IMPRESS warrants that, during the Coverage Period, the Post-Press and Rigid Box Manufacturing Machinery will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service as specified in the machine’s Operation Manual.

1.3. Exclusive Remedy If a defect covered by this Warranty arises, IMPRESS shall, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective parts, free of charge, during the Coverage Period. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent. Replaced parts become the property of IMPRESS.

Specific Warranty Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

This Limited Warranty explicitly does not cover the following items or conditions:

A. Consumables and Wear Parts: Any part that is expected to wear out or require periodic replacement under normal operation. This specifically includes, but is not limited to: Cutting Tools, Die Cutters and Paper Drill Bits Belts, bearings, friction disks, seals, hoses, and filters. Pneumatic and hydraulic components that are subject to routine wear.

B. Breakable Parts: Items susceptible to breakage from impact or accidental damage, including but not limited to glass, plastic safety covers, lights, and indicator lamps.

C. Damage due to Misuse or Negligence: Faults or damage resulting from: Failure to perform routine maintenance as required by the Operation Manual. Operation exceeding the machine's stated duty cycle, capacity, or technical specifications. Use of improper or non-genuine consumables, parts, or materials. Improper installation, setup, or connection to incorrect power/voltage supply.

D. Unauthorized Modification: Any alteration, modification, or repair performed by personnel not explicitly authorized or approved in writing by IMPRESS. Such actions immediately void this entire Warranty.

E. External Causes: Damage caused by acts of God (e.g., fire, flood, lightning), accidents, theft, vandalism, war, or electrical power surges/fluctuations beyond standard industrial tolerance.

F. Third-Party Components: Components manufactured by a third party (e.g., specific brand PLCs, motors, pumps, gearboxes or drives, etc) may carry their own manufacturer’s warranty, which is separate and distinct from this IMPRESS Limited Warranty.

Procedure for Warranty Claim

To obtain service under this Warranty, The Buyer must strictly follow these steps:

1. Immediate Notification: The Buyer must cease using the machine immediately upon detection of the defect and notify IMPRESS or its authorized Channel Partner in writing within seven (7) working days of the discovery.

2. Documentation: The claim must be accompanied by the machine's serial number, original purchase invoice, date of installation, and detailed evidence of the defect (including photographs and/or videos).

3. Return/Inspection: IMPRESS reserves the right to request the return of the defective part for inspection. The cost of shipping the defective part to the designated IMPRESS service location shall be borne by the Buyer.

4. On-Site Service: If on-site inspection or repair is required, IMPRESS will dispatch an authorized technician. If the inspection reveals the fault is not covered by this Warranty (e.g., operator error or a wear part), The Buyer shall be responsible for all costs related to travel, labor, and accommodation for the technician.

General Conditions

A. Labor and Travel: During the Coverage Period, IMPRESS will provide parts free of charge. The cost of labor and travel for service performed outside of India, or for on-site service not explicitly covered by a separate Service Agreement, may be chargeable to the Buyer.

B. Limitation of Liability: IMPRESS is not responsible for any consequential or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, downtime, or damage to The Buyer’s assets or products, resulting from a machine failure. This Warranty sets forth the full extent of IMPRESS's liability.

C. Transferability: This Warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner of the machinery, provided IMPRESS is notified in writing of the transfer within thirty (30) days of the transaction. d. Governing Law: This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and The Buyer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city of Chennai, Tamilnadu.
