Shipping and Delivery

a. Industrial Shipments: Given the size, weight, and high value of our machinery, all shipments are handled via specialized freight carriers and are typically shipped in protective packing, wooden boxes, crates or containers.

b. Quotation and Lead Time: The lead time (time from order acceptance to shipment) for machinery can vary significantly and will be specified in the final Proforma Invoice. Shipping costs will be quoted separately and are dependent on the final destination, mode of transport (air or sea freight), and chosen Incoterm.

c. Incoterms: Standard terms of delivery (e.g., Ex Works, FOB, CIF) will be negotiated and clearly defined in the Proforma Invoice. The risk of loss or damage to the product transfers to the Buyer according to the specified Incoterm.

d. Inspection upon Arrival: The Buyer must thoroughly inspect all shipments upon arrival and before signing the delivery receipt. Any visible damage must be immediately noted on the carrier’s documentation. Failure to document damage at the time of delivery may result in the refusal of claims.

e. Customs and Importation: The Buyer is solely responsible for all customs clearance procedures, duties, taxes, and fees required by the destination country. IMPRESS is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to customs issues.

Returns and Cancellations

a. Final Sale on Machinery: Due to the specialized, high-value, and often build-to-order nature of our Post-Press and Rigid Box manufacturing machines, all sales of machinery are final and non-refundable.

b. Cancellations: Orders for machinery require a non-refundable deposit. Cancellation after the manufacturing process has begun will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and may incur additional charges for materials and labor expended.

c. Returns for Tools (Drill Bits, Die Cutters, etc.): Unopened and unused standard consumable tools (e.g., paper drill bits, die cutters) may be returned within [30] days of delivery. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and a [15]% restocking fee.

d. Defective/Damaged Goods: If a product arrives damaged (and damage was noted on the delivery receipt) or is proven to be defective under the terms of the separate written Warranty Policy, IMPRESS will, at its option, repair, replace, or issue credit. This must be reported to IMPRESS within [7] days of arrival with photographic evidence.
